Illegal timber-laden vehicle seized in Golaghat district | 6 Sep, 2020

GOLAGHAT: The smuggling of timber continues unabated in Golaghat district. On Friday night, the officials of the Golaghat Divisional forest office seized wooden logs at Murphulani in a pick-up van bearing registration number AS05-AC-0387. The van was coming towards Golaghat from Karbi Anglong. According to sources, the vehicle was carrying the timber from Karbi Anglong district without any legal documents. The forest officials seized the vehicle along with the timber.
