KOKRAJHAR: A meeting of the District-Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) under the Mukhya Mantri ‘Eti Koli Duti Paat’ Asoni was held at the conference hall of the District Commissioner’s office, Kokrajhar on Sunday to review the implementation of the scheme, which provides one-time financial assistance to tea garden workers and employees.

The meeting was chaired by the Guardian Minister of Kokrajhar, Urkhao Gwra Brahma, who emphasized that no legitimate beneficiary should be left out of the scheme. MLA Jiron Basumatary also attended the meeting and reviewed the ongoing beneficiary verification process in detail. District Commissioner of Kokrajhar Masanda M Pertin underlined the importance of accurate documentation and strong inter-departmental coordination to avoid delays and ensure seamless execution of the scheme on the ground. Stakeholders were urged to carry out the process with utmost care, ensuring fewer errors during form fill-up so that the disbursal of benefits proceeds without complications.

The Kokrajhar DC instructed ADC concerned to expedite the process for forms distribution to concerned tea garden managements. ADCs Wadiul Islam and Subhram Aditya Bora, Lead District Manager of UCO Bank, I/C DIPRO, representatives from tea garden communities, and concerned officials were also present in the meeting.
