
Tapati Chakravorty, a renowned academician and a noble lady of Dhubri town passed away on December 30, 2024 at her residence. Born on April 3, 1942, she was a beacon of wisdom, courage, and resilience, whose life and legacy touched the hearts of many.
Tapati Chakravorty was a highly respected and accomplished teacher at Sishu Pathshala Higher Secondary School, where her dedication and nurturing spirit earned her the love and admiration of countless students.
Her influence extended far beyond the classroom, as she instilled in her students values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of education. Widowed at a young age, she displayed extraordinary strength and determination by single-handedly raising her three sons.
Despite facing significant challenges, she pursued her dream of higher education and completed her bachelor’s degree from Guwahati University. Through her unyielding spirit and boundless love, she ensured her children grew up in an environment filled with care and inspiration, shielding them from the hardships she quietly endured. Her smiling face and pleasant personality were a source of joy for everyone who knew her. She was not only a devoted mother and teacher but also a beloved member of the Dhubri community. Her courage and unwavering positivity left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tapati Chakravorty leaves behind her three sons and their wives, two daughters (nieces), and her cherished grandchildren. Her absence will be deeply felt by her family, her students, and the people of Dhubri, who will always remember her as a symbol of grace, resilience, and kindness. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her life continue to inspire those she left behind.
