Indian Red Cross Society Distributed Flood Relief Kits in Bilasipara

BILASIPARA: Under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Assam state branch, in association with  IRCS, Bilasipara sub-district branch, 500 flood relief kits were distributed on Tuesday to flood-affected people under Bilasipara subdivision. The Flood Relief kit included utensils, mosquito net, tarpaulin, blanket, clothes and bed sheet.

In this connection, an inaugural meeting was held in the premises of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhaban, Bilasipara. Dr. Kanu Lal Das, chairman of IRCS, Bilasipara sub-district branch, explained the aims and objectives of the programme. Rohan Kumar Jha, SDO (Civil), Bilasipara and president of the Bilasipara branch inaugurated the distribution of relief kits.
