Indian Red Cross Society distributes prizes among winners in Bilasipara

BILASIPARA: In connection with the centenary celebration of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), online competitions on quiz, poetry, art, song and essay writing were held under the aegis of IRCS, Bilasipara subdivisional branch in 2020.

In this connection, a prize distribution ceremony was held on Thursday in the premises of the Dr BR Ambedkar Bhavan, Bilasipara with Hridayananda Das, vice-president of the organization, in the chair. Opening song was sung by girl volunteers. Dr Kanu Lal Das, chairman of IRCS, Bilasipara subdivisional branch delivered welcome address. Anand Mishra, Superintendent of Police, Dhubri attended the programme as chief guest. Attractive prizes were distributed along with certificates among the winners by the chief guest and Dr KL Das.
