Infighting against former minister in Borsola Congress Committee

DHEKIAJULI: During an executive body meeting of Borsola Block Congress (I), which was held at the Alisinga Community Bhavan on Thursday, several Congress executive members raised their voice against former minister Tanka Bahadur Rai.

The meeting was attended by Nurul Huda, in-charge Sonitpur District Congress Committee, APCC general secretary Apurba Bhattacharjee, former Sonitpur MP Tanka Bahadur Rai, Sonitpur District Congress president Madhurya Goswami and different office bearers of Borsola Block Congress Committee.

In the meeting, different office bearers of Borsola Block Congress voiced their opinions. Mainul Hoque, a leader of Natunpam Mandal Congress Committee, during his speech alleged that not a single person got government job from Natunpam area during the 15 years of Congress rule. As heated arguments took place during the meeting, Nurul Huda intervened and prevented the situation from further escalation. Later, Nurul Huda urged the Congress workers to strengthen the party ahead of the assembly polls. He assured the Congress workers that their grievances would be addressed.
