Injured deer dies in Sanyasi hill of Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: An injured deer was found on Tuesday evening in Sanyasi hill of Bongaigaon. "It had major injury on the leg and body. We informed the forest department immediately. But before forest personnel could reach, the deer died. We suspect that some poachers may have targeted the deer but somehow it escaped," said villagers.
