Innovation and Rejuvenation Book Released In Naharkotia

Naharkotia: Namrup College released a book titled Innovation and Rejuvenation of Teaching in Higher Education on Friday. The editors of the book are Dr Nibedita Phukan and Jayanta Sonowal.

The book is the result of the programme from February 9 to February 14 on ‘Innovation and Rejuvenation of Teaching in Higher Education’ along with Teaching- Learning Centre of Tezpur University, under the MHRD, Government of India scheme, Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching.

The book was released under the funding of the Teaching-Learning Centre of Tezpur University. The book release ceremony was held at the Namrup College conference hall on Friday in the presence of teachers, students and office staff of the college.

All total 16 research articles were included in the book in which Professor KK Deka, Vice-Chancellor of Shrimanta Shankardev Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon and former Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, as well as Professor JC Kalita, Director (Additional Charge), UGC-HRDC, Gauhati University also shared their views.

Other research articles were contributed by teachers and academicians of different colleges and Tezpur University. The book was released by Kamala Kanta Gogoi, Padadhikar of Shrimanta Shankardev Sangha and the Chancellor of Shrimanta Shankardev Viswavidyalaya, Nagaon.
