International Mother's Day celebrated by NGO in Baksa

Tamulpur: International Mother's Day was celebrated on Sunday at Tamulpur in the district of Baksa which was organized by Diamond Group, Rangia (an NGO). On this occasion, a meeting was held at Sankardeb Bidya Niketan, Tamulpur, which was conducted by Dwijen Kumar Das and Hironmoyeen Das. Secretary of Diamond Group, Rangia, Hiramani Deka Mahanta elaborately described the significance of celebration of International Mother's Day.

In this meeting, retired teacher of Tamulpur Higher Secondary School, Prafulla Chandra Mahanta, retired teacher of Tamulpur Higher Secondary School, Biswanath Bhattacharya, retired teacher Baikuntha Kalita, Principal of Rangia Teachers' Training College, Partha Phukan Mahanta, managing trustee of Asha Darshan Trust, (Tamulpur) Biju Barbaruah along with many distinguished persons participated in the meeting and delivered valuable speech on International Mother's Day. On this special day, 10 ideal mothers were felicitated by Diamond Group, Rangia, with seleng chadar, citation letter, book and a flower plant.
