BISWANATH CHARIALI: To benefit research scholars and teachers and encourage them towards writing effective research papers, an international virtual power seminar was organized on Wednesday on the topic 'Writing an Effective Research Paper' by IQAC, Biswanath College, a premier higher educational institute of Assam, as part of its academic activities during the diamond jubilee celebration of the college.

Dr Lopita Nath, Chair of the History Department and Coordinator of the Asian Studies Program at the University of the Incarnate Word, USA, graced this event as key resource person. The virtual power seminar began with welcome note by Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of the college, while it was moderated by Narendra Kumar, Senior Manager of ICT Academy.

G Narendra Kumar, Deputy General Manager, Training and Research Publications of ICT Academy, presented his lecture as resource person on the topic. The seminar was attended by faculties and research scholars from various institutions like Pondicherry University, Cotton University, USTM, Assam Don Bosco University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Dibrugarh University, Gauhati University, Rabindranath Tagore University, IIE, Tezpur Central University, Rajiv Gandhi University, Tripura University and Amity University.
