International workshop at Tyagbir Hem Baruah (THB) College in Jamurighat

JAMUGURIHAT: An international workshop-cum-hands on training on bee keeping, organized by the department of Zoology of THB College in collaboration with Kanyaka, was held at the conference hall of IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) of THB College on Friday. Dr. Ajit Hazarika, principal of the college delivered a welcome address while Kanyaka CEO Neeraj Hazarika forwarded the keynote address. Herman Bisschop, a beekeeping expert from PUM in the Netherlands, attended the workshop as a resource person and delivered a concise lecture on the subject. The workshop was attended by students from the Zoology Department, other college students, and Kanyaka entrepreneurs. Dr. Sanjib UPadhyaya, Coordinator of the programme and Asst. Prof Dept of the department of Zoology carried out the proceedings of the session.
