Irregularities in distribution of minority scholarship scheme sponsored by Central government

NAGAON: In connection with misappropriation as well as large irregularities in the distribution of minority students' scholarship scheme sponsored by the Central government, a sleuth from CID headquarters, Guwahati, on Monday conducted a massive raid at various CSP centres situated at minority dominated areas in the district like Kachuwa, Juria, Jukati Bazar, Kawoimari on the outskirts of Nagaon town.

Sources claimed that during the raid, the CID team picked up 9 persons including Imran Khan, Jehirul Islam, Mrinal Kunwar for further interrogation and also seized various documents from those bank CSP centres.
