Jamuguri police held drug peddler

JAMUGURIHAT: One Guljar Hussain who hails from Balidonga area under Jamuguri police station, was apprehended and four containers of brown sugar weighing 12.560 gm were seized from his possession on Saturday evening by a team of Jamuguri police.

According to information, Jamuguri police conducted a search operation on a vehicle bearing registration number AS12 AC 4728 at Tupiya under the leadership of Kabir Singh Limbu; officer in-charge of Jamuguri police, in association with local VDP. The peddler was arrested and investigation is on.
