'Jibanar Dukharia Sabi' released at Demow Press Club

DEMOW: A book release programme was organized in the auditorium of the Demow Press Club on Sunday.

During the programme, a book entitled 'Jibanar Dukharia Sabi' was released. It is written by Khagen Chandra Borah, retired radiologist of the Assam Medical College and a resident of Demow Kushal Path.

The meeting was held in the auditorium of the Demow Press Club on Sunday. Ajay Kumar Gogoi, President of Demow Press Club presided over it.

Sashinanda Saikia, Assistant Professor of the Assamese Department of Khowang College anchored the programme. Ajay Kumar Gogoi, the president of the Demow Press Club lit the ceremonial lamp in the programme.

Khagen Chandra Borah's bok was released by Ajay Kumar Gogoi, the president of Demow Press Club in the presence of dignitaries . The dignitaries were felicitated with phulam gamosa during the programme.

Among the dignitaries present during the book-release programme were Runu Dutta Borah, a literary, Dr.Diganta Gogoi, HOD of Assamese Department of Nitaipukhuri Hem Chandra Deva Goswami College, Tulan Bezbarua, Retired Headmaster of Sukanpukhuri High Medium School, Padma Lahon Chetia, Retired Headmistress of Konwar Dehingia Primary School as well as Former President of Demow Sahitya Sabha, Padma Saikia, a social worker of Sivasagar.
