Jorhat businessman BL Agarwal Donates Rs 3 lakh to fight against  COVID-19

Jorhat: Jorhat-based businessman BL Agarwal handed over a cheque of Rs 3 lakh to Assam Assembly Speaker Hitendra Nath Goswami, who is also Jorhat MLA, to the Assam Arogya Nidhi to fight against coronavirus.

Employees of Assam Sarba Siksha Abhiyan of Jorhat district has donated one day’s salary amounting to Rs 84,0492, RK Goel, partner of Anamika Motors, donated Rs 1 lakh, and Rashtra Bhasa Vidyalaya donated Rs 51,000. All handed over the cheques to the Speaker for the Assam Arogya Nidhi at the DC’s office on Thursday.

Lions Club of Jorhat donated Rs 51,000, R K Goel donated Rs 51,000, Rashtra Bhasa Vidyalaya donated Rs 51,000, and Gopal Jhawar also donated Rs 51,000 to the Jorhat DC COVIT-19 Relief Fund. They handed over the cheques to Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni Aparanji Korati while Kamal Jalan , a prominent businessman, handed over Rs 51,000 in cash.
