Jorhat Police arrested three drugs peddlers from AT Road Borpool area

JORHAT: Jorhat Police team led by Sadra Police Station in-charge Naba Kumar Borah arrested three drug peddlers from AT Road Borpool area and recovered a large number of drugs and packing materials and containers from one of the arrested drug peddlers. They all were picked up while they were injecting each other in a parked iron rod carrying truck bearing registration number RJ-07GA-1600, said police sources. They were all booked under section 27 (A), 28, of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and were produced at the Chief Judicial Magistrate court of Farhana Sultana on Thursday. They have been identified as Isabul Haque (26), Anwar Hussain (31) and Iazaz Rehman (23). They all hail from Juria –Nagaon, Bhuragaon-Morigaon, and Borpool-Jorhat respectively. Police also seized the truck.
