Journalists of Bajali protest against arrest of Arnab Goswami

PATHSALA: Protesting against the arrest and alleged physical assault of journalist Arnab Goswami by Maharashtra Police, Bajali journalists staged a protest programme at Pathsala in Bajali district. The journalists of Bajali protested holding placards at Pathsala town in the district. Goswami was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly abetting the suicide of a 53-year-old interior designer in 2018 and was remanded to judicial custody till November 18. The protesters condemned the police action and raised slogans against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. In the programme, the members of BajaliZilaSangbadikSantha and Bajali Press Guild were also present.
