KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang lays foundation stone of Karbi Hemtun

DONKAMUKAM: Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the construction of Karbi Hemtun at Hojai near Don Bosco School, Hojai district, to be constructed under the CEM's Special Package 2020-2021.

"The Hemtun will serve the purpose of lodging and organizing public functions," said Ronghang. He urged the people to keep a tab on the quality of construction work. "Local people will get appointed for the post of manager and fourth grade," he added. He also directed the contractor to complete the scheme within a year. The CEM was accompanied by MP Horensing Bey, EMs like MS Timung, Amarsing Tisso and Lunsing Teron and other dignitaries.
