Kakapather Sanmilita Sangrami Mancha Demand to repeal CAA & EIA

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Kakapather Sanmilita Sangrami Mancha, a human chain was organized on Kakapather-Chengeli NH-15 on Thursday to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), 2019 and the draft Environment Impact Assessment (EIA), 2020. While demanding repeal of CAA and EIA, the organization also demanded immediate release of all anti-CAA movement detainees. In support of their various demands, they shouted slogans which rented the sky in this portion of the busy national highway which connects Assam with neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh.
