KOKRAJHAR: Former Deputy Chief of BTC Kampa Borgoyari has been holding a series of public meetings in different places in Chirang District since the past three days in favour of the UPPL.
On Monday, Borgoyari had an insightful interaction with the Gaoburas of Patabari VCDC under Nisima Constituency regarding the current political scenario and the forthcoming BTC elections. He said that the Gaonburas were grateful for the discussions on the way forward for the UPPL.
Earlier in the day, he visited the Lungsung Forest Belt and exchanged words with the local people. He said that the villagers shared various important issues and concerns with him and in the same meeting, more than 150 members of the Kuruk Adivasi Community officially joined the UPPL in his presence. He warmly welcomed them and said that he looked forward to working together for unity, progress, and the welfare of the people. Apart from these, in another meeting at Bijni Town, more than 300 people from various political parties joined UPPL in his presence. He said that their trust on and support to the UPPL further strengthened the collective vision for progress and development. He also said that together they continue to build a stronger future.
