Kangana Ranaut at Assam's Chandubi Lake for 'Emergency' Shoot

GUWAHATI: A forthcoming biographical film called "Emergency" starring Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has started pre-production on its second session. Kangana Ranaut is reportedly planning to spend the night in Kaziranga, and the actress recently visited Chandubi Lake in Assam.

The Delhi run of "Emergency" was earlier finished by Kangana last month. In an Instagram story, she made the announcement. She shared a video of one of her team members announcing, "It's a Delhi schedule wrap."

"Emergency" is based on the biography of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and Kangana Ranaut portrays the late leader in her debut solo directorial effort.

Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade also give noteworthy performances in the movie in addition to Kangana.

The "Queen" actor has "Tejas," directed by Sarwesh Mewara, in the works, in which she will portray an Indian Air Force pilot, in addition to "Emergency." The unknown is when the movie will be officially released.

Many people respect Kangana Ranaut because she expresses her ideas in an uncensored manner. The actress is arguing that the 'Boycott Bollywood' movement has nothing to do with the failure of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. He claims that his remarks on India being "intolerant" have hurt him today.

Aamir Khan was criticized by Kangana Ranaut at an event when she said, "Superstars have all kinds of perks. They charge Rs. 200 crores for an Rs. 2 crore job." For locations with available economy flights, they accept charter plans. Now, the populace is debating whether they have a right to fame.

"In regards to Aamir Khan Ji, I'm not explicitly referring to the boycott mentality, but rather to the fact that Turkey acted against us while the country was under pressure. However, you went there, obtained your consent, and snapped pictures. You damaged our name by accusing us of being an intolerant nation in front of everyone, " said the actress.

In a statement earlier, Kangana had said, "Emergency reflects one of the most significant moments in Indian political history, which impacted the way we approach to power, and that's why I opted to tell this narrative."
