KHERONI: The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) proudly launched its Pension & Grievance Cell on Tuesday in a concise yet significant ceremony at the KAAC secretariat building’s premises in Diphu. The inauguration was led by Mukul Kumar Saikia, IAS, Principal Secretary, KAAC.
The newly-established cell aims to provide a dedicated platform to address employees’ pension-related issues and grievances efficiently and transparently. Sonasing Terang, Deputy Secretary, KAAC, has been appointed as the in-charge (I/c) of the Pension & Grievance Cell.
Principal Secretary Saikia expressed gratitude to Dilip Terang, ACS, Secretary, P(A) Department, for his invaluable guidance. He also acknowledged the contributions of the joint secretaries, deputy secretaries, Under Secretary, district public education officers of Diphu and Hamren, Senior Financial Officer, FAO (C), Additional Chief Engineer (W), executive engineers (Water Resources) of Diphu and Hamren, Executive Engineer (Mechanical), Transport, and others who played a pivotal role in bringing this initiative to fruition.
Special appreciation was extended to the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Chief Advisor, and members of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Employees’ Association (KAACEA) for their active support and cooperation in making this initiative a success.
