DONGKAMUKAM: The activists of Karbi Students Association (KSA) led by president Semson Teron held a democratic protest at Dongkamukam, West Karbi Anglong to show their dissatisfaction over the clause 2.3 of the Tripartite Peace Agreement signed on September 4 with six armed organizations of Karbi Anglong.

President of the organization, while speaking to media persons, welcomed the Accord but demanded to exempt the clause 2.3 which gave provision to non-tribals to contest in 10 MAC seats from 50 seats in the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) MAC constituencies. Teron threatened that the stir would be intensified if their demand was not fulfilled.
