Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya students preparing National Flags in Kokrajhar district

KOKRAJHAR: Altogether 375 girls from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya in Kokrajhar district (KGBV Kokrajhar, KGBV Kachugaon, KGBV Gossaigaon, KGBV Hatidura) are preparing National flags for Har Ghar Tiranga campaign launched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to encourage people to transport and hoist the Tiranga to honour India's 75th year of Independence. Students from KGBV, Kokrajhar district have participated in making the flags by stitching. All the teachers along with the students are planning to distribute the Indian flags to the nearby houses that belong to BPL sections to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's Independence.
