Kendriya Jatiya Vidyalaya, Mangaldai inaugurated Computer laboratory

MANGALDAI: With a view to impart computer education and to teach the students its online applications, Kendriya Jatiya Vidyalaya, Mangaldai on Wednesday morning inaugurated the computer laboratory in the school complex.

Media person Bhargab Kumar Das, taking part in the inaugural function, ceremonially inaugurated the computer laboratory in the traditional way in presence of National Award for Teacher recipient Sashank Hazarika and teacher-cum-guardian Basanta Saikia. Taking part in the inaugural function, Sashank Hazarika appreciated the initiative of the school authority to offer computer education with online facility to make the students able to know the use of the online computer application which would enable them to submit the admission forms for different competitive examinations online.

“The need of the hour is to guide and mould the budding talents in the proper shape with human values and ethics. The school authority under the dynamic leadership of Girindra Kumar Sarma has been carrying out a noble social responsibility through the academic institution since 2002,” said Sashank Hazarika in his speech. Guardian and teacher Basanta Saikia also narrated his experience gathered from his long association with the school.

Earlier on behalf of the management, Girindra Kumar Sarma, while explaining the objective of the function, reiterated the commitment of the school authority to continue their initiative to provide better education for the students, particularly of the weaker section, with all infrastructure. The students earlier performed community prayer and cultural performance.
