Khelo India Inter Coaching Meet Under-19 held in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: The District Sports Officer Kokrajhar organized a daylong programme of Khelo India Inter coaching meet under 19 age both boys and girls held at South Kashibary Saya Maya Sports club playground today in Kokrajhar District.

More than 500 participants from various disciplines like football, Athletics and volleyball boys and girls under 19 age-old were participated in the Khelo India Inter coaching meet from the district.

Speaking to Media, Jajnabati Basumatary CHD sports welfare of BTC said that a total of 20 coaching centre including Jharbari coaching centre, Salakati, Banargaon, Tipkai, Soraibil, Choraikola, Serfanguri, Dotma etc from the Kokrajhar district which the District Sports Officer Kokrajhar had organized coaching for various disciplines’ players to make expert and today they have participated in the Khelo India Inter coaching meet and above 500 hundred participants have been thronged to meet to show their talents in sports activities.

She said that the Khelo India Inter coaching meet main aim to make peace and development activities in the sports and to select talented sports personality in the various discipline to participate and bring fame to the district, state and nation.
