'Know Your Army' Stall Adds Zeal To Republic Day Celebration

MANGALDAI: The troops of Red Horns Division deployed in Darrang and Udalguri districts to assist the civil administration in fighting against insurgency, organized a 'Know Your Army' stall at the Parade Ground in the DC's office complex during the ceremonial celebration of the 70th Republic Day which became the point of attraction for everyone present in the celebration.

The inquisitive young generation, irrespective of gender, made a beeline for the stall only to have a glance of the weapons displayed by the 'Friends in the Olive Green'. While the touch of small arms and weapon seemed to be exciting, the locals got a boost in their adrenaline in the bayonet fighting enclosure. The military band of the Army adding special fervour to the celebration gave the background beat to the marching contingents and was appreciated by one and all.
