LAKHIMPUR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Lakhimpur organized a 3-day long training programme on "Feeding and nutrition of pigs" under the capacity building of farmers through training programmes on profitable dairy farming and livestock management at Bokanala village under Boginodi block. The event was held from February 23 to February 25.
A total of 45 pig rearers from Bokanala and other neighbouring villages attended the training programme. The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. P.K. Pathak, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, Lakhimpur. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS-Animal Science) Arindam Chakraborty officiated the programme as Course Director and SMS (Fishery Science) S Bhuyan as course coordinator. Assistant professors of Lakhimpur College and Veterinary Science, Dr. Ankita Gogoi and Dr. Donna Phangchopi took part in the training programs as resource persons.
