Krishi Vigyan Kendra Sivasagar organized tree plantation programme

A CORRESPONDENT

GAURISAGAR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Sivasagar organized a tree plantation programme on the occasion of the Chief Minister's Institutional Plantation Programme (CMIPP) at the office campus of KVK, Sivasagar. Dr Phuleswar Nath, Senior Extension Specialist, Directorate of Extension Education, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat inaugurated the programme. Dr. Prodip Handique, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK, Sivasagar along with all scientists and staff of KVK Sivasagar actively participated in the programme. A total of 50 guava plantlets were planted on the occasion. The programme will continue till August 15 where 99 plantlets of different tree species will be planted within the campus.
