Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sonitpur conducted exposure visit of progressive farmers

TEZPUR: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sonitpur conducted an exposure visit to organic farm Pabhoi Greens and Pabhoi Fish Farm, Biswanath Chariali as part of the APART programme.A group of 30 progressive farmers was taken to Pabhoi Greens, Biswanath Chariali to give an exposure to different technologies on organic farming. They were introduced to different crops and fruits which were grown organically. In the day-long programme, Neelam Dutta, entrepreneur, acted as resource person and discussed about the seed production technology and different management practices of horticultural and field crops. Later, the group visited Pabhoi Fish Farm, Biswanath Chariali and learnt about the fish breeding process. The group was guided by Dr. Roji Chutia, SMS (Agronomy), Ranjit Bordoloi, SMS (Fishery) and all APART staff of KVK, Sonitpur.
