Lachit Divas observed in Demow

DEMOW: Along with other places, Lachit Divas was observed in Demow, Nitaiphukhuri, Sepon on Wednesday.

Under the patronage of Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Demow Town Committee, and in association with the people of Demow, the BAYM, Demow Town Committee leaders organized a tribute programme for Bir Lachit Barphukan in Demow Chariali on Wednesday evening. On the occasion, the BAYM, Demow Town Committee leaders and people of Demow paid tribute to Bir Lachit Barphukan by lighting candles in front of the photo of Bir Lachit Barphukan in Demow Chariali.
