Lack of parking space in Pathsala town causes concern

PATHSALA: A section of people are concerned over the lack of parking facility in Pathsala which has led to traffic congestion. Local people alleged that in Pathsala town there are many banks and big markets without any parking facility. This causes frequent traffic jams, creating massive inconvenience to the common people. They have questioned as to why the authority concerned does not look into the matter.

Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) leader Bijan Bayan said, "There is no discipline in Pathsala town. Businessmen are busy in making buildings just for money. Why don't the authorities concerned take any action against the violators? I know it is not possible for all to give parking space. But as per the size of the building, the authorities should give order to make parking space in the ground floor of various banks and big markets. So I urge the district administration to look into the matter."
