BAKSA: The 61st conference of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha will be held in Tamulpur in Baksa district on February 11, February 12 and February 13.

On Wednesday, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief Pramod Boro laid the lai khuta of the 61st conference of Bodo Sahitya Sabha in a spiritual environment at Gwjwn Fwthar (peace fieid) in Tamulpur. In his speech, Boro said that Tamulpur is a place rich in literature, sports and culture. He urged the people, irrespective of caste and community, to cooperate in making the conference a success.

Speaking on the occasion, the president of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Toren Boro said that in the current era of globalization, the Bodo Sahitya Sabha is constantly trying to take the Bodo language to the world's door. He added that the Bodo Sahitya Sabha has been working for the development of different ethnic communities in addition to the unity and peace of Assam by coordinating with the different ethnic groups of Assam, including Axam Xahitya Xabha. General secretary of Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Prashant Boro, BTR Executive Member Dharma Narayan Das, and other dignitaries were present.
