Lakheswar Brahma Memorial High School celebrates Silver Jubilee

TANGLA: The silver jubilee celebration of Lakheswar Brahma Memorial High School in Mazbat of Udalguri concluded on Wednesday.

In the open session, BTC Executive Member Shyam Sundi, while releasing the souvenir, rued the fact that the only Bodo medium high school in the area with such legacy still awaited provincialization in the high school section. Mazbat MLA Charan Boro, while attending the session, assured that he would take up the matter of the provincialization of Bodo medium schools in Assam Legislative Assembly. In the open session presided over by Rabindra Basumatari, Inspector of Schools, Udalguri, Bhaben Deuri, noted Bodo comedian Philao J. Borgoyari, Mazbat Revenue Circle Officer Dhritiman Das among others took part. Earlier, the day-long occasion kicked off with hoisting of 25 flags followed by cultural rally and the annual prize distribution ceremony.
