LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district branch of Red Cross Society distributed relief materials among 300 families living at Kakoi Kadamiyal under Kadam Revenue Circle.
In this connection, a public meeting was also organized at Lambit Gogoi Kadamiyal LP School. The meeting was held under the management of secretary Rajiv Sarmah and it was chaired by president Rajesh Malpani. In the event, Field Officer of the District Disaster Management Authority under Kadam Revenue Circle Office, Mitul Dutta explained in detail about the relief and compensation schemes meant for the natural calamity-affected people, adopted by the governments.
