Lakhimpur district unit of HYCP to organize lecture on 'Avatar Shri Krishna' on November 1

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district unit of Hindu Yuba Chatra Parishad is organizing a lecture event on Avatar Shri Krishna on November 1. The event will be held at Lakhimpur Xahitya Xabha Bhavan located in North Lakhimpur town from 3:30 pm. Sahitya Akademi Translation Award winner for the Assamese language, Diganta Biswa Sarma will take part in the event as speaker and deliver lecture on the stipulated topic. The prestigious award for 2020 was presented to him for the translation of the book named "Foundation of Indian Culture" to Assamese language. In the same event, the organization will accord warm felicitation to the award winner for his achievement. The organization has appealed the people to attend the event at due time for its successful conduction.
