Lakhimpur Excise personnel seized 850 cases of IMFL

GUWAHATI: Lakhimpur Excise personnel seized a truck containing several cases of IMFL on Friday. The Excise personnel intercepted the vehicle bearing registration No.AS07A C9353 carrying 850 cases of IMFL for sale in Arunachal Pradesh only at Harmoti under Bihpuria Circle on Friday evening. One person has been arrested in this connection and a case has been registered against him under the Assam Excise Act, stated a press release.
