An old man of Lakhimpur district had almost lost hope of getting medicines for his cancer ailment. The medicines are only available in Guwahati. But Lakhimpur Police, under the command of Superintendent of Police Rajveer, travelled 1,000 kilometres to get the medicines for him from Guwahati.

Superintendent of Police Rajveer reiterated the commitment of the police to extend all possible help and cooperation to people in this crisis situation. Saturday. In this regard, the movement of such vehicles carrying vegetables and agricultural produce will not be stopped by any district from now during the lockdown period. However, entry and exit of such vehicles in the containment zones will have to follow the advice and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and State Health Department.
