Lakhimpur Police Department conducts Flag March

LAKHIMPUR: Lakhimpur Police Department on Saturday administered flag march and show of area domination programme in order to maintain peace and tranquillity in the district.
The programme was at first staged in the A-team field of North Lakhimpur town and then at Naoboicha Laluk, Harmoti, Bihpuriya, Narayanpur and many other places under the district. Lakhimpur Superintendent of Police Hare Krishna Nath along with the high-level officers of Lakhimpur police department took part in the programme. By conducting the programme, Lakhimpur police department called upon all to maintain law and order across the district. The organizations initiating agitation programmes in the district regarding different issues have been urged not to indulge in any kind of violence during their demonstrations which can affect the peace and harmony in the society.
