Lakhimpur UCO Bank observes Vigilance Awareness Week-2018

LAKHIMPUR: The Vigilance Awareness Week-2018 was observed by UCO Bank in Lakhimpur from October 29 to November 3. The North Lakhimpur Branch of the bank observed the week with a theme: ‘Eradicate Corruption, Build a New India’. In connection with the awareness week, an art competition was organized in its office premises on Sunday.

The president of the Lakhimpur District Pensioners’ Association, Keshav Bhuyan inaugurated the competition. State acclaimed artist-cum- architect Paresh Bhuyan attended the inaugural event which was anchored by manager of the bank Upen Baruah. Lead district manager of the bank for Lakhimpur and Dhemaji along with teacher Bibha Bordoloi were also present in the programme. Over 50 participants joined in the competition which was held in two categories.
