Lakhimpur unit Hindu Yuba Chatra Parishad Assam welcomes appointments

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district unit of Hindu Yuba Chatra Parishad, Assam (HYCPA) has welcomed the appointment of Madhab Das as the general secretary in-charge of the central committee of the organization.

Madhab Das was appointed at a meeting held in the central committee office of the organization on September 2, immediately after general secretary Dipankar Gohain resigned from the post. Prior to it, Madhab Das was serving as the general secretary of the Lakhimpur unit of the organization.

Lakhimpur unit HYCPA also welcomed the appointment of Bitumoni Gogoi as the chief organizing secretary of the organization. In this regard, an executive meeting of the Lakhimpur unit HYCPA took resolutions welcoming the appointments of the two dignitaries.

Lakhimpur unit HYCPA president, Jugmajyoti Dutta said that the executive meeting, held at the Lakhimpur Pensioners Bhavan, also reviewed the activities of the regional committees under the district body. The same executive meeting appointed Rajib Singh as the general secretary in-charge of the district body while Likhak Mahanta and Jon Patir as organizing secretaries, Bhaskar Gohain as office secretary, Pabitra Borah, Riuraj Hazarika and Chandan Saikia as executive members.
