Lakhimpur unit of Aam Aadmi Party demands urgent measures to check price rise

LAKHIMPUR: Demanding steps to control the price rise of petro-products and essential commodities, members of the Lakhimpur district unit of AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) staged a demonstration here on Sarturday. They flayed the BJP-led Union Government and also the State Government for failing to control the rise in prices of petrol, diesel, Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) and other essential commodities. The demonstration led by the coordinator of the Lakhimpur district unit of AAP, Debojyoti Chutia, was held in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office. They also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur in connection with the issue.
