Land pattas distributed among landless beneficiaries across Assam

SARUPATHAR: The State Revenue and Disaster Management department (SRDMD), along with the district administration of Golaghat, distributed 1,351 land pattas and 669 land allotment certificates to the indigenous landless families under six revenue circles of Golaghat district at the District Library on Monday. The land patta distribution ceremony was inaugurated by State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora. The event also saw the presence of other dignitaries like Mrinal Saikia, MLA of Khumtai constituency, and Binod Gowala, former MLA of Sarupathar.

Bongaigaon: Ceremonial distribution of periodic pattas and allotment certificates among 1,228 landless beneficiaries in Bongaigaon district was held on Monday at the Birjhora Public Auditorium in the presence of State Food and Civil Supply and Consumer Affairs Minister Phani Bhushan Choudhury as chief guest and other dignitaries like Deputy Commissioner of Bogaingaon, Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya, and Superintendent of Police Subodh Sonowal. A total of 52 beneficiaries were given the periodic pattas and allotment certificates and remaining 1,176 beneficiaries can collect the periodic pattas and allotment certificates from their respective revenue circles.

MANGALDAI: Darrang district administration on Monday joined the second phase of distribution of land pattas and allotment certificates to landless beneficiaries along with several other districts of the State.

In a function organized here in the district library auditorium, State PHE Minister Rihan Daimary and Rajya Sabha MP Bhubaneswar Kalita, in presence of Mangaldai MLA Gurujyoti Das and Sipajhar MLA Binanda Kr Saikia, Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Borah and other senior officials of the revenue department, ceremonially gave away the land pattas to a total of 2,319 beneficiaries while allotment certificates were given to 250.

Addressing the beneficiaries, minister Daimary termed it as a historical step of the BJP-led State Government which had helped the beneficiaries to enjoy the land rights after a long time. However, he warned them not to make any attempt to sell these allotted plots of land.

Hojai: Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya distributed allocation of land pattas and land certificate to landless families in Hojai district on Monday. Distribution ceremony of land pattas and sanctioned land certificate was organized at Sandevnagar at the district headquarter premises. A together of 1495 land certificate and 212 land pattas were given to the landless families by the minister. In the meeting, Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya mentioned many aspects of the success of the government led by Sarbananda Sonowal. The meeting was attended by the minister Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya as chief guest, Hojai district BJP president Anup Dev, Deputy Commssioner Dr. Sadnek Singh Uttam Das and others.
