Langting irrigation campus in Haflong gets new lease of life after almost two decades

Haflong: The people of Langting are happy with the initiative of Executive Member, NC Hills Autonomous Council, and also the local MAC, Golonjo Thaosen to give a new lease of life to the Langting irrigation campus after almost two decades. One of the most important departments in the Langting area was almost defunct as the staff abandoned the campus following the deterioration of law-and-order situation earlier and the Army had taken shelter in the campus. To revive the department, EM Thaosen held a meeting on Tuesday with 42 staff of the department and assured that he would move the higher-ups to get this department revived. He instructed the SDO to start the office immediately in this campus and other things would be taken care of by the NCHAC along with the State Government.
