Leopard Captured By Forest Officials In Chelengi Area of Golaghat District

GOLAGHAT: A leopard that had been creating terror in the Chelengi area of Pulibor under Golaghat district, was captured by forest officials with the help of local people on Thursday morning.

According to the report, the leopard had been creating terror in the area and people were living in fear. Local people reported the matter to the forest department and the forest officials put a cage in the area and finally on Thursday morning, the leopard was caged. Local people gathered in large numbers to see the captured leopard. Later, the forest officials took the leopard to Nambor Reserve Forest and released it.
