Leopard found dead in Bokota Jalukani area of Sivasagar district

DEMOW: A dead leopard was recovered from Bokota Jalukani area of Sivasagar district on Wednesday. According to sources, the dead leopard was recovered near the Desang River on Wednesday. The local people saw the leopard near the river and immediately informed the Forest Department of Sivasagar district. The officials of the Forest Department reached the spot and took the dead leopard to the Forest Department office in Sivasagar. According to sources, the leopard had been creating panic among the people of the area since the past few days.
