Life Insurance Corporation of India Doomdooma Branch observed 'Insurance Week'

DOOMDOOMA: The LICI (Life Insurance Corporation of India) that came into being on September 1, 1956, observes 'Insurance week' from September 1 every year.

The LIC, Doomdooma Branch also took up various programmes to observe the week and it got underway with the hoisting of the flag by Branch Manager (BM) Dinakanta Doley on Wednesday. In the art competition organised among school children on Thursday, Bhatika Jha, Nistha Bora, and Jesika Bharali were adjudged first, second and third respectively.

BM Doley explained the significance of observing the Insurance Week. Artist, teacher and journalist Kula Barman -- as the chief judge of the art competition -- dwelt on ways to boost skills.
