Liquor shops to open in Dibrugarh district from 10 am to 5 pm

DIBRUGARH: Licensed IMFL / Country Spirit (CS) , wholesale, /IMFL off / CS 'off'/ IMFL 'ON'/CS 'ON'/ club 'ON' shops and business establishments can be opened from 10 am to 5 pm in the district from Sunday, stated an order issued by the District Magistrate, Pallav Gopal Jha incorporating the directives issued by the State Chief Secretary on August 13. Shops and business establishments will remain open in scheduled period, except on weekly lockdown days (Saturday and Sunday), adhering strictly to COVID protocol. The order will remain effective from August 16 to August 31 in the entire district. Strict punitive measures will be taken against all those shops and establishments which violate the latest directives of the government related to COVID-19.
