Local Holiday Declared in Cachar for Dol Jatra Celebrations on March 15

SILCHAR: In a recent order issued by the district administration, a local holiday has been declared across Cachar on March 15 in view of the grand celebrations of Dol Jatra.

As per the announcement, all state government offices, including Revenue and Magisterial Courts, educational institutions, and financial institutions, will remain closed on the said day.

However, the order clarifies that emergency services will continue to function as usual. Additionally, any pre-scheduled examinations, written tests, interviews, and their related services will proceed without interruption, ensuring that essential administrative and academic processes remain unaffected, stated a press release.
