Mae Dam Mae Phi celebrated in Demow

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Greater Ahom Society of Demow, Mae Dam Mae Phi was celebrated centrally in Demow Public Playground with a two-day long programme. As per the programme, the rituals of the festival began with the Phuralung Puja in Demow Public Playground on Wednesday.

On Thursday morning, the maidam tarpan was offered. A drawing competition for students was organized. The Dam Phi Puja began with rituals and after that the prize distribution ceremony was held where the winners of the drawing competition were given prizes and then a community feast was organized.
